The Great Climate in Europe: Madeira
Madeira has an excellent climate best for a holiday trip. During summer its maximum temperature is 29° centigrade and 17° centigrade during winter. Temperatures like these are bearable. {The climate varies in the whole part of the island}. The more northerly you go, there are great chances of rain. If you travel to the southerly coast and go west from Funchal (the capital city), the weather is unbearable.
Although it has been pretty rare in the last 4 years, it began to rain less than once a month on average, mostly during winter. Madeira’s topography is the main explanation for the weather condition.
In the mountains the rain is ample and due to the volcanic origin of the rocks and its scheme over 2,000 kilometres of surface level water canal, the island stays green and has an abundant vegetation and flora life.
Generally, Canary Islands are warmer. It is often considered a part of mainstream Europe, but they have a strong links in terms of history and dependency in Spain . In administrative matters like taxes they are outside of Europe . The climate is said to be a little warmer yearly since it is considered to be a part of Europe and it does always hit Madeira .
Tourists around the age of 55 visit Madeira because of its good climate. Winter season is said to be the peak time of visiting Madeira. Many people especially older ones know which spot to visit.
