My Chicago Luxury Hotel Experience

We had our senior prom at The Drake Hotel in Downtown Chicago. The hotel itself shows the beautiful architecture and history that downtown Chicago has to offer. You can tell that the building is extremely old by the classic style. The feast room that we had prom at was gorgeous. It was huge. There were big flower centerpieces in the school colors of Purple, white, and Marigold, crystal chandeliers, and high cathedral ceilings. The table settings were really beautiful. The napkins were our school colors. It was the ideal setting for romance. In fact many couples got engaged that night. The food was amazing as well. We were very impressed. We had a choice of chicken or beef. Our compliments to the chef. We had rented a room to stay at after prom and it was also great. Our room had a huge marble tub in the bathroom and fluffy bath robes waiting for us as well. The bathroom was huge. When we went to watch TV we found a NINTENDO Wii with games to play. We had a lot of fun playing that. The room also had two queen size beds, a desk, a sofa, and there was even a phone in the bathroom. The beds had clean sheets, unlike the nasty hotels I have vacationed in. Room service was a bit expensive. We paid $10 just for some chips and dip. We had an amazing view of Lake Michigan and of Navy Pier’s monstrous Ferris wheel. The service from the employees was magnificent. They were extremely nice and even gave us fresh fruit from the lobby. They made sure that our stay was as pleasant as possible. We got chocolates on our pillows instead of mints. A continental breakfast was also provided to us the next morning. All in all we had a great experience. It was unforgettable and romantic. We got some great pictures to put in our scrapbooks. If you looking for a Chicago hotel or a luxurious Chicago hotel or even a cheap chicago hotel then you have come to the right place.
