Coastal Automated Sales System

The Coastal Automated Sales System is another copycat system that tries to compete with the original call center concept of the Coastal Sales Center.

The automated sales system also goes by the initials: ASS. Some see that as a fitting abbreviation.

This group was began in 2006 and has what are called PMA’s (personal marketing assistant)working from home, answering your prospects questions about your Coastal business. Many of them are ALREADY in coastal which presents a big conflict of interest. Another interesting thing is that these ‘closers’ work from home, so they are not in an office, nor can they be monitored for possible sales or lead stealing. Since you send your prospect to them, is the temptation strong for them to keep that lead for themselves? It might be….

I am not sure what the qualities of the PMA’s are but, what makes other sales centers standout is that for 3 years, there main closers have worked the phone, day in and day out. They are true professional closers, who understand the pyschology of making the sale and getting your lead to buy. A weak or rookie PMA might sabbatoge your business or make you look bad.

The commission structure on their site is confusing, as they tell reps they may FULL coastal commissions, $1000, $3200 or $9705 per sale. But I believe they don’t make those commissions, but must pass a portion over to their individual PMA’s for when they close sales for them. Actually, the PMA’s get stiffed pretty hard on the Level 3 commission for all the work they do.

They need to update the product PDF from official Coastal training, as theirs is from September 2006.

I would rate this system a 7.2
