Getting married in Maui can be a wonderful experience. You can plan the wedding just as you want without interference from well-meaning family and friends.
A fairy tale wedding fit for a princess can be arranged in Maui if that is what you want. You can spend as much or as little as you feel comfortable with but the same applies anywhere. If money is of little or no concern imagine a wedding with a traditional Hawaiian flare. Pamper yourself the day before your wedding as you indulge in a Lomi Lomi massage, a pedicure, facial, and a manicure right in your hotel suite.

Originally, the Polynesians were the ones who populated Maui. They came from the Marquesas and the Tahiti. The core of the culture of Hawaii came from the kapu system which was introduced by the Tahitians. The kapu system was a social system that strictly affected the entire aspects of life of the people of Hawaii.
During the mid-1700s, a modern history for Hawaii was paved. It was the time of the Battle of Kepaniwai when King Kamehameha I resided and made his mark in the place of Lahaina after conquering Maui in the year 1790.

Central Maui offers so much to do, but most people just head straight for their resort, missing the beauty of central Maui. After visiting the toursist attractions inKahului and Wailuku, stop by the Ma’elaea district.
The moment you have reached Wailuku, make a quick right turn on Route 30 and head to Ma’alaea towards the south. Stop at Maui’s Tropical Plantation where you will feast your eyes on a 60-acre wide variety of fruit plantation. Here, you will have the chance to enjoy Maui’s rich agricultural nature, history and some free samples of fresh natural fruits harvested in ideal conditions. You will also be delighted with the different kinds of plants, flowers and trees that are unique and not found in any kind of plantation. If you are a fruit lover, then this is the spot for you. If you go into gift shops, prices are reasonable and inexpensive for that matter. Looking for some Mauna Kea macadamia nuts? Then you can find it inside the plantation at worthy prices and selections.

The tropical paradise of Maui offers something special for every visitor, but the outstanding offerings particularly well-suited to families surprises many.
Most resorts on Maui provide programs for young guests including planned beach activities. The Westin Maui at Kaanapali Beach Resort is particularly popular with families thanks to the tropical foliage, waterfalls and parrots. The aquatic playground featuring a 128-foot slide makes childhood fantasies come true. Maui hotels and resorts are about much more than a room and a beach and many include special touches to encourage family visitors.
